Fudgy Brownies

I own a book called Have Your Cake and Lose Weight Too written by DaNelle Wolford. It’s an awesome book because she uses studies, scientific research, and many years of her own personal experience to expose the myths of the health food industry. A definite recommended read for learning more about what you’re putting in your mouth as well as whole food recipes!

I couldn’t keep little hands out of them long enough to get a full batch picture 🙂

Leading me to the topic of today’s post…
This is my new favorite recipe because I can eat fudgy brownies that aren’t laced with guilt, but also don’t taste bad!
Real Brownies (real ingredients are best: grass fed butter, organic eggs, etc)
1 stick of butter
1 cup coconut sugar (pure cane or sucanat is also fine)
2 eggs
1 tsp
1/3 cup cocoa powder
1/2 cup whole wheat flour
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp baking powder
